I may only be 25, but I have been in this business for 6 years now and have learned and done so much. After attending the Aveda Institute for my basic training, I quickly realized that there was so much more I wanted to learn. I worked in a salon environment for a short time out of school and soon met a well known and respected esthetician who was looking to train someone with her expertise and to help absorb some of the flow of clients coming her way. I worked under her for a couple of years. I was a sponge. I learned Chemical peels, enzyme peels and a lot about how the skin functions. I then needed to take that to the next level and get more clinical training. So, I went to Dermed Institute in Atlanta for their esthetic perimedical training to further my knowledge. I also spent some time in Texas working with the "peel queen" Rhonda Allison. I took her advanced training and learned more about her skincare line and treatments. Since then I have started my own business with Sarah Kurn. She operates out of my store and we work together to offer the best products and treatments for our clients. I have a passion for the beauty industry as a whole, extending far beyond skin care alone. I also love makeup and especially enjoy helping people with their everyday look. Having a natural, polished look makes all the difference in your appearance and how you feel. It is all about enhancing your best features. When your skin is in its best condition that is much easier to achieve. That is really why skincare and makeup go hand in hand. A true product junkie, I have many skincare and makeup lines at my store. I pass the benefits of this habit along to my clients. From my experience trying all types of products I have cherry picked some of my very favorites to showcase and recommend only the best. I really am so lucky to have found my passion early on in life and I look forward to sharing that with you.
